The Hill School

“We are extremely pleased with our new Web site and, what’s more, we have been thoroughly impressed by the working relationship established with Magic Hour. The level of professionalism, good humor, and responsive, conscientious attention to detail has been wonderful from the pre-design research phase, through the design process and, now, in the post-launch refinement phase.”

Cathy Skitko
Director of Communication
The Hill School

Web Site
A dynamic new communication tool

Founded in 1851 as “The Family Boarding School,” The Hill School, in Pottstown, PA, may be distinguished from other college preparatory schools by its commitment to sustaining an ideal “family” learning environment. Indeed, The Hill was the first school in the country to have students live with faculty in their campus home away from home.

Moving from:
A difficult to manage HTML site that simply did not
meet the communication needs of the school.

Moving to:
A dynamic MagicWand Web site that, in the words of people at the school, “transformed” their communications. The Board of The Hill School did not have to allocate any new funds to pay for the site, because the school saved more from their traditional communication budgets than the site fee. The site includes multimedia student profiles and a virtual campus tour. And they saw improved results. To cite just one example: within a year, attendance at alumni events more than doubled.

Communication that is cheaper, faster, and better!
