Mobot is a privately held company located outside of Boston. We’re technology people (and Red Sox fans) with diverse backgrounds in exploring the always interesting intersection where technology and consumers meet. The management team has created and led successful companies in Internet content and services, visual recognition, advertising and consumer-initiated marketing. Above all, we’ve learned how to make things people want to use.

We’re seeing a major shift in how people (and that includes us) access and use information. We seem to have a million choices to make every day--which sites to surf or blogs to read, which channels and programs to watch, which publications to read….and most of all, which brands and products to choose.

So, in this “message overloaded” world we created Mobot to help us act on the things we choose to include in our lives. It’s a simple but powerful idea. Everyone wins. You win, as a consumer because you receive only what you asked for. The brand wins because perhaps their interaction with you may persuade you to become a new customer, and the media channel wins because their partnership with Mobot just allowed you to connect with one of their advertisers.
