Current openings:

Senior ASP.Net Engineer
Reporting directly to the CTO, the software engineers will be a key member of the small team building the next generation of our Web content management system which is already in use by thousands of people at dozens of clients. A strong passion and thirst to keep up with new industry trends and standards, learn new things and grow in architectural design and coding capabilities is a must. You will work closely with an internal QA person.

Some other necessary qualifications are:

· Good understanding of, and experience in, ASP.Net, Javascript, HTML and CSS is a must.

· Experience with version control systems such as VSS or SVN is a must.

· Strong knowledge of SQL is a must. MSSQL 2005 experience.

· Experience with C# is a strong asset, as well as VS.NET 2005. Some experience working with the design-time surface of VS.NET as opposed to declarative asp.net page design using the editor.

· Some experience with AJAX.

· Experience/knowledge of Web cross-platform (PC/Mac; IE/FireFox/Safari) development/compatibility issues

· Experience to iterative rapid prototyping.

· Experience in developing multi-site hosting ASP.NET code.

· Experience with web parts or modular portal infrastructures.

· NHibernate or other .NET ORM experience.

· Experience with third party or community based .NET frameworks like log4net.

· Ability to design working ASP.NET pages in very short time frames.

· Familiarity with concepts such as session persistence, URL rewriting, .ascx component design, third party component libraries like telerik, infragistics, devexpress.

· Ability to work in a small team and be able to work cross functionally in the QA, database query design and architecture areas.

· Strong interest and/or experience in WEB 2.0 type technologies is important.

· Exposure to VS.NET 2008 Beta and LINQ.

· Strong exposure to object oriented design and development is necessary

Also, experience with an ASP.NET content management systems, such as dotnetnuke, rainbow portal or mojo portal is a plus.

Web Production Associate
Magic Hour is looking for a person to work 10-20 hours/week building Web pages with our easy-to-use content management system. Experience building Web pages with Dreamweaver or other software is important, as well as a good understanding of laying out attractive, usable pages.

You may also be asked to help out with other work in the office, such as online research and updating a database.
