| Now you can use the power of Facebook to generate excitement and participation for your school's fundraising efforts. Magic Hour's new Facebook Badges feature for InfoServe works with your forms to allow supporters to make a gift, for example, and then post a badge and message on their Facebook Wall.
At 500 million users worldwide, Facebook is the most powerful social media network out there. If your average parent has at least 100 friends and your school has 300 parents who post the badge to their Facebook Wall, that's nearly 30,000 "brand impressions" for your school. That's a lot of impressions. When a parent posts a badge to their Facebook page, the message is loud and clear: I support my school and so should you.
How does it work? It works in conjunction with InfoServe's forms module. For Phase 1, we'll design and deploy one badge for one form on your site. Our recommendation is that you use it initially for a fundraising campaign. Phase 2, launching in a few months, will allow you to design and deploy additional badges for other forms, such as event registration, enrollment, reunions, and other fundraising campaigns.
