A More Effective Take on Database Integration

Magic Hour takes a different tack on database integration. We pull live data onto the website whenever emails, a directory, grades, or other information housed in your school’s database are needed. That means no more maintaining a website database that’s separate from your school database or worrying whether a data import is still accurate. It’s always up-to-date and available to website users with a single sign on.

You Asked. We Listened.
Your feedback is always important to us, and we've been listening. Now, as a direct response to our clients' desires and technical growth needs, we have streamlined the content creation and administration level tools and completely overhauled the media management tools—all in order to decrease the amount of time spent on daily tasks and increase the ease-of-use for all user types.

Introducing InfoServe 2012
UC12 attendees recently received the first sneak preview of a collection of features from the newest version of our Content Management System, InfoServe 2012, currently in development. We demonstrated the revised tools for folder management, article, and weblink creation, as well as new features for on-site photo cropping and re-sizing and album creation. Response to the new software has been positive--including several "oohs!" and "ahhs!" from attendees during the demonstration.

While development continues, let's take a look at our release goals and timeline, as well as a few highlights of the modifications and new features.

Top 8 Reasons We're Looking Forward to UC12
  1. Catching up with long-term clients and putting faces to voices of new clients—virtual is great, but in person is always better.
  2. Learning the connections between soup, aerospace, social media, and schools from expert Dr. Munir Mandviwalla.
  3. Having a Colonial era-inspired dinner at City Tavern.
  4. Getting demystified about Google Analytics and improving SEO with search marketing guru Rachael Gerson.
  5. Navigating the world of Google Ads with Aaron Levy.
  6. Seeing the Liberty Bell!
  7. Teaching and certifying attendees as Magicians—the Magic Hour kind—in web marketing, webmastering, InfoServe, and more.
  8. Hearing tips, tricks and webmaster secrets from clients Rebecca Toon and Lisa Robinson.
